ROBB SEXTON BIO
PRESIDENT, FLATWIRE TECHNOLOGIES

Senior Vice President at Southwire and President of the FlatWire Technologies division, Sexton brings more than 20 years of product development, marketing, and business management experience to the wiring and technology industries. Before joining Southwire with the DeCorp acquisition, Sexton was President, Chairman, and CEO of flat wire technologies leader DeCorp Americas, Inc.

Sexton invented and holds patents for all of Southwire's FlatWire Ready technologies and he is pioneering the evolution from conventional round wire to flat wire. He first cultivated his knowledge of engineering as a manager at Beacon Electronics, a full-service electronics industry design and sales company and also served on the Circuit City Stores, Inc. management team.

An entrepreneur by nature, Sexton founded a number of companies including Symmetrical Technologies, a computer mass storage company; New Millen Group, a multi-industry development company that created new products serving the automotive, insurance, apparel, home improvement, publishing and music industries; and most recently, flat wiring leader DeCorp Americas.

Robb Sexton is a native of Washington, D.C. He attended Daytona Beach Community College for two years before leaving to help with the family's real estate business. In 1998, he relocated DeCorp from Ashburn, Va. to the Nashville, Tenn. area where DeCorp developed and fine tuned its FlatWire products. In 2006, Sexton moved to Carrollton, GA to take his position within Southwire and continue to lead the FlatWire Revolution.
